Birdhouse Project

Emily doesn’t nap anymore. It seemed more effort to try and put her down for a nap to only then have to fight her at night when it was bedtime.

We removed bedtime and tried quiet time but that usually doesn’t work. Instead of tv time during Apollo’s nap, I try to use the time to work on projects with her. That is only when I have the energy to that is. I often don’t and Glenn has to watch her.

I planned the birdhouse project to be over the weekend sometime since I was going into surgery on Monday. After surgery, my recovery would be focused on rest and I wouldn’t be able to play much with Emily.

The birdhouse kit and paint were all picked up from our local Michael’s. My husband later mentioned how the paint isn’t waterproof so it probably won’t last if it rained. Oops.
